Alison Hoffman

Alison Hoffman - Executive Director

Alison has been with LCS for nine years and has both professional and personal experience assisting individuals with disabilities reach their full potential and achieve their personal goals. She has a BS from the University of Wisconsin Parkside, an MS from Concordia University in Mequon Wisconsin, and holds her CESP (Certified Employment Support Professional certificate). Alison has a passion for seeing the potential in everyone she works with and truly believes that everyone, regardless of disability, should be a part of their community. During Alison’s time at LCS, she has been an integral part in helping LCS focus on community employment and move away from traditional prevocational services and traditional day services by implementing innovative programs and services for LCS, while ensuring that the mission goals and strategic and financial objectives are met. Alison continues to focus on helping individuals see that their potential is limitless and move forward LCS’s mission of providing training and community engagement for youth and adults of varying abilities to enhance their self-esteem and quality of life.

Brittany Brown

Brittany Brown - Director of LCS Services

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside with a Bachelors in Sociology, Brittany joined LCS in late 2015. Beginning as a Vocational Assistant, she spent her time helping individuals in Explore with career exploration and setting personalized goals. Within a year, she transitioned to working as a Job Coach where she was responsible for assisting individuals with maintaining community integrated employment. After briefly leaving LCS to enhance her skillset, Brittany returned to LCS as the Community Service Manager where she focused on revamping the Community Service programs, Connect and Explore, to ensure individuals in both programs were exposed to an abundance of new experiences and career exploration opportunities. Entering 2021 as the Director of Community Services, her mission is to continue building a strong team committed to exposing individuals receiving LCS services to community integration and encouraging them to reach their goals. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her fur babies – Bentley, Chevy, and Brooklyn.

Mike Snodgrass

Mike Snodgrass - Director of Operations

Mike came from the manufacturing world where every day was a dog-eat-dog experience, and successes were only measured in dollars and cents. When he came to LCS, Mike saw a different world where he could use his experiences to help train those with varying abilities to find a job that will help enrich their lives. Success here is measured in smiles and pride of accomplishing their goal of getting that job in the community. Everyday these individuals face challenges that Mike says he could never imagine. But every day when he greets the participants in the morning, they always come in with a smile on their face and an eagerness to do the best they can. For Mike, it is a pure joy to come in everyday and be a part of their lives and be a part of their successes. Some of Mike's hobbies are: Cheering and following the Packers and Badgers, movies, and bike riding.

Carol Ratliff

Carol Ratliff - Human Resource/Safety Director

Carol started her career at LCS as the Human Resources Director on July 13, 2020. She graduated from Carthage College and Cardinal Stritch University, and Carol has worked in the Human Resources field for her entire career, which included manufacturing companies like Hormel Foods and Ariens Company. Her favorite part of HR is employment law, as it changes every day. Carol is a member of the Kenosha United Way Board of Directors, and an active member of the Kenosha American Legion Post 21 Auxiliary. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, golfing, reading, going to the gym, cooking, and watching General Hospital.

Vanessa Hernandez

Vanessa Hernandez - Community Services Case Manager

Vanessa has been working at LCS as the Community Services Case Manager since 2016. She loves working with the participants! Seeing them thrive is why she comes to work every day. She has two boys and one girl that she loves with all her heart. Vanessa and her husband have been together since the 6th grade. Her hobbies include playing sports with her boys, going to the movies, taking mini vacations, and shopping. Vanessa can also speak two languages.

Jeanie Eyman

Jeanie Eyman - Accounting Manager

Jeanie began her career at LCS in 2009 as an Accounting Coordinator. She has an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Gateway Technical College, and her current position title is Accounting Manager. In her spare time, Jeanie loves to travel and spend time with her family. She and her husband also enjoy camping with their teenage daughter and son. When Jeanie is not on some adventure, you can find her in the kitchen baking cookies, cakes, and pies. Many people have said that she should open a bakery!

Mary Goltz - Community /Training Coordinator

Mary enjoys this field because her position allows her to experience several different aspects of helping people gain skills that are needed for competitive employment through Job Coaching and providing trainings for participants and staff. She also has the opportunity to learn something new every day from participants and other staff members. Mary has several hobbies. She likes to upcycle things to keep them out of landfills because she takes the saying, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” to heart. She also enjoys crafting and making things out of glass, wood, and other materials.

Samuel Pena

Samuel Pena - Employment Specialist

Sam enjoys helping find solutions to challenges participants may face and providing services to assist with the goal of obtaining gainful employment. Sam's experience covers both working with adults as well as youth. What he enjoys the most is getting results and having the participants achieve successful outcomes. Sam enjoy sports such as basketball, softball, comedy movies, but mostly he enjoys spending time with his family. In addition to being a QEST Employment Specialist, Sam is also a minister and enjoys fellowship with members at the congregation. He has been married for 27 years and counting, and he has two daughters. Sam is also a grandfather of two beautiful grandkids.

LCS Employment Specialist

Mary Isabel Granado - Employment Specialist

Mary Isabel began working as an Employment Specialist at LCS on August 30, 2021. She has a background as a Substance Abuse Counselor, as well as a Chaplain for several different facilities. She became interested in her current position because she enjoys helping people and wants to assist participants in finding community employment solutions. What Mary finds most rewarding about her job is that she gets to help participants achieve a successful outcome based on their personal goals.

LCS Employment Specialist

Jeff Werwie - Employment Specialist

Jeff joined LCS in 2022 as an Employment Specialist after five years of service providing vocational skills and classroom training to adults with varying abilities at a local nonprofit. He also mentored individuals with disabilities to help them establish goals in life and develop a pathway to achieve their goals. Jeff holds a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin – Parkside and earned his M.S. in Environmental Science from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. Jeff spent his entire career working for Johnson Controls, Inc. in Environmental Engineering & Compliance before retiring after 36 years to begin supporting adults with disabilities. Jeff’s role at LCS will assist individuals with disabilities in finding employment within the community and teach them skills that will support their efforts to become successful in reaching their highest potential.

Michelle Cooper - Employment Specialist

Michelle started working at LCS in 2015. She has worked as an Explore Coach, Community Support Coach, and now is an Employment Specialist. She enjoys being an Employment Specialist because she likes helping participants with their jobs in the community. Michelle has 29 years of experience in the community services field. She stays motivated to continue doing what she does because she finds it rewarding to help participants with their lives and careers.

Kayla Torres

Kayla Torres - Employment Specialist

Kayla Torres joined LCS on January 22, 2024, as an Employment Specialist. She is a graduate of Case High School in Racine. Kayla brings patient care and customer service experience to LCS. Her enthusiasm and desire to learn the balance of serving people with disabilities, and promoting our services to businesses will be a great addition to our team. torresk@lcsracine.org.

Jorene has been working at LCS since April of 2022, and Lisa started at LCS shortly after in May of 2022. Raphael joined the LCS Connect Community Coach team in July of 2023. Shannon has been working at LCS as a Connect Community Coach since June of 2011, but she has held other positions prior to her current one.
