LCS QEST participant Antonio is currently working at Blaze Pizza in a Temporary Work Experience (TWE). Antonio loves his job; he keeps the dining room clean, welcomes customers, and washes dishes. The managers at @Blaze Blaze Pizza (Tim and Juan) are enjoying Antonio and say he is doing a terrific job! Thanks in part to the Wisconsin Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), Antonio is able to experience his first job using a TWE. Keep up the good work Antonio! ... See more

National Geographic worked with the Association of Families and Friends of Children with Down Syndrome in Poland to create the “Look at us a little differently” photo shoot and article. "The association makes sure that Down syndrome and autism are not associated with suffering and unhappiness.
